2006 is winding down
I had a great Christmas. This week will be pretty busy at work; we have a lot of projects wrapping up. I have the new affiliate system interface pretty much complete. Todd and I have been working on expanding our DNS architecture to be more redundant and continue to provide solid resolution service to our customers. We will be moving one of our core name servers while we roll out this new architecture.
Internally we have been restructuring day-to-day responsibilities to enable Todd to spent more time focusing on other aspects of the business. Support and Operations have really been going great. Support loads and response times are lower than they have ever been. Our entire support crew has really been doing a great job as we wrap up this year. It is extremely rare that I look into our support queue and see any issue that hasn’t been responded to in the last hour. Most tickets are being resolved on their initial submission, without any additional interaction from the customer. Our average customer satisfaction rating on tickets is higher than 4.5 (out of a possible 5).
Todd already broke the news, but several members of the Site5 crew will be meeting up in New Jersey this weekend. We will be visiting Times Square for New Year’s Eve.
I am very excited about the coming year, both personally and professionally.
